Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS5 Digital Media Producer to join the Strategic Communications Team in ensuring high-level video strategy and best practice accessibility for video and digital outputs.

APS5 Labour Hire hourly rate contract spanning an initial 12 months with the strong possibility of extension. Hourly rate on offer is $55.24 + Super. To be based out of our client's Richmond or Geelong location.

This contract will be within a hybrid environment, with 2 days working from home, and expected 37.5-hour weeks.

**About the role**

The APS5 Digital Media Producer will be required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to Agency's objectives

**Responsibilities**:

- Producing video content in accordance with the Agency Video Style and Brand Guidelines, for distribution across a range of digital platforms.
- Managing technical production requirements including camera operation, lighting and sound recording.
- Organising and directing shoots including interviewing participants, staff and members of the public.
- Completing post-production tasks including video editing using Adobe and Premiere Pro, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), colour grading, media encoding and platform delivery.
- Providing technical and creative advice, supporting the pre-production process.
- Managing the Agency's content storage and archiving.
- Supporting the development and management of the Video Recording Studio.

**About you**
- Advance ability to operate a professional video in a studio environment
- Strong multi-cam video editing skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- In-depth knowledge of video production workflows & standards
- Highly interpersonal
- Intermediate animation skills using Premiere & After effects
