The Opportunity
VillageOSHC, part of The Extend Group, is seeking an OSHC Service Assistant at Tahmoor Public School in Tahmoor.
The role involves playing, teaching, and caring for children in a safe learning environment during Outside School Hours Care.
The Role
Before School Care: 6:15 am to 8:20 am
After School Care: 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm
Holiday Care: up to 6 hours per day
Assist in delivering quality daily activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational.
Supervise and support children.
Prepare and serve healthy food options.
Create an engaging and positive environment for children.
Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
About You
Engaging and warm personality.
Strong focus on child safety and mandatory reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or studying towards it, or equivalent.
Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
Willing to obtain First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training.
Child Protection Training Certificate.
Available to work Monday to Friday.
