Position

Role: OSHC Educator

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the centre in maintaining a high-quality standard of middle childhood education and care.
  • Ensure compliance with the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality Standards, at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of an innovative and reflective middle childhood education program that is reflective of the principles, practices and outcomes of the Middle Year Learning Framework.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team through shared learning, a positive attitude, and sound communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, community members, management and other relevant professionals.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development using a variety of methods.

Qualifications
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Experience in providing quality learning experiences and environments for young people.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and development.
  • Effective communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range starts at $36 per hour (Grade C, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
