Are you an **experienced** and **educated** NDIS Disability Support Worker looking for a new opportunity?

We are looking for an experienced **support worker** to join the Enlighten Caring team and provide high quality support services to NDIS participants with physical disabilities and/or challenging behaviours in Sydney (Waterloo, Five Dock etc)

We are a registered NDIS Service Provider and pride ourselves in having kind, compassionate and hard working Support Workers.

In this role you will be responsible for providing daily living support to clients in their home and out in the community. You will be supporting clients to develop and maintain their independence by helping with:

- Personal care including eating, dressing, toileting and showering
- Household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation
- Community access such as transporting clients to and from appointments, shopping or leisure activities

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience in Disability Support to individuals with physical disabilities, challenging psychological behaviours and in complex situations
- Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
- Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and behaviours
- Current Australian Driver's license and your own car with third party car insurance
- A passion to help others and a kind and compassionate character
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster which may include weekends or public holidays
- Commitment to uphold our company values and the NDIS Code of Conduct
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations (or medical exemption)

Highly regarded:

- Confidence in driving wheelchair accessible van (not mandatory)
- Immediate start availability

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
