As the Research Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinators and the GenesisCare National Research Team in our Clinics. This position is an excellent opportunity to expand your career and gain valuable experience in research administration from a leading company.

You would be responsible for the conduct and coordination of assigned clinical trial administrative activities being undertaken in the state. You will work with an amazing team with diverse knowledge and experience across the state, being an integral part of the team conducting trials in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.

On offer is a permanent full time position, working 38hours per week based at our NSW North Shore Health Hub.

What you'll do:
General Administration Activities:

- Undertake general administrative duties including booking and confirming participant appointments, accessing hospital medical records, writing letters to referring doctors, scanning and document filing.
- Organise and schedule appointments/meetings, internally and externally, as necessary.
- Responsible for coordinating participant reimbursements.
- Assist with Managing laboratory equipment records including but not limited to fridge and freezer temperature logs.
- Maintain study trackers as required.
- Assist the Start-Up team with maintaining staff details, CV's, training and registration documentation including GCP, medical registration and medical insurance details.
- Help with clerical duties relating to each individual clinical trial including filing and site file organisation.

Research Activities:

- Allocate and arrange storage for study folders, study specific equipment, investigational product, participant materials and pathology supplies throughout the life cycle of the study.
- Support in the collection, preparation, and shipment of samples, including pathology samples, bloods and imaging discs, as required.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of required study files, including but not limited to, regulatory binders, study specific source documentation, and other materials throughout the lifecycle of the study.
- Assist the clinical research coordinator in preparing for patient visits.
- Assist clinical research coordinator with data capture and entry for research projects as requested.
- Arrange archiving of completed research projects and update associated trackers Liaise with other health providers to provide or obtain clinical trial related information and data.
- Work with the clinical research coordinator to assist with recruitment and screening of patients.
- Observe and witness the administration of investigational product.
- Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, study specific protocols and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.
- Complete all mandatory and trial specific training as required.

Qualifications and experience:

- Minimum year 12.
- Post grad science qualification or working towards.
- Current GCP certification.
- Advance IT skills.
