**Employer Relations Officer**

**Relationship Management**
- Build, enhance and strengthen partnerships with employers, trustees and colleagues to ensure service level agreements are always met across multiple schemes.
- Ensure information requests from employers are resolved in a timely, accurate and professional manner and that agreed service level agreements and targets are met.
- Advocate for employer needs with teams working in Administration Operations, understand issues and work collaboratively to provide positive outcomes for employers.
- Manage all employer requests through to full resolution, relating in particular to use of systems to ensure successful transfer of superannuation contributions.
- Identify opportunities through building a relationship with employers and provide feedback, intelligence and opportunities to the business for growth or value add services.

**Provision of customer service & administration support**
- Create a positive employer experience across multiple clients by maintaining regular and appropriate employer contact through execution of any plan agreed by leadership.
- Maintaining a positive employer experience by establishing rapport and providing timely and accurate responses related to relevant queries (such as member information, reporting, legislative requirements, scheme rules, contribution and benefits) that meet employer's needs.
- Attend and facilitate employer seminars, workshops and forums as requested by our clients. Collating content and ensure that the right information is conveyed to the audience.
- Perform administrative tasks relating to the management of employer records including group insurance, reconciliation activities and employer record management.

**We would like you to have**:

- Relevant industry related qualifications with RG146 as a minimum, others such as Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation), and/or relevant industry experience.
- Experience detailed knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and service standards relating to the administration of the schemes and administered by MAS and/or relevant industry experience.
- Highly developed oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence mutually beneficial outcomes for employers and Mercer.
- Sound organizing skills, the capacity to prioritise work, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines across multiple schemes.
