Employment Services Leader

Lead Disability Employment Services

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality disability employment services.

The successful candidate will lead frontline service delivery, supervise staff, engage with employers, and ensure compliance with guidelines and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities include leading employer engagement at allocated sites, ensuring workplaces meet safety requirements, and applying relevant Award conditions and pay to participants.

You will also agree with employers on wage subsidy requests, develop and monitor the performance of other IEA staff, provide day-to-day supervision and support, and deliver recovery-focused and strengths-based program services.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with lived experience of mental health issues.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification related to disability employment services
  • At least 3 years experience working in disability services, preferably in DES or similar programs
  • Strong commitment to recovery-based practice
  • Excellent knowledge of disability employment services requirements
  • Understanding of challenges faced by people with lived mental health experience
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems
