About the Role
The Systems & Reporting Lead is a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
The role focuses on managing and improving financial systems, data models, reporting frameworks, and data governance.
The goal is to enhance analytical capabilities by ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant financial data and insights for internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, analytically minded, and business-oriented, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
The role involves building a modern, scalable BI environment that supports users across the organization.
Collaboration with Finance, Technology, and other teams is essential.
Education and Experience
5+ years in BI Development, Reporting Analysis, or Data Analysis roles.
Experience with BI & Reporting in financial contexts, delivering P&L, FinOps, & Budget/Forecast reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and relational databases.
Proven success in managing cross-functional projects, especially in finance technology or data transformation.
Desirable Qualifications
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience in publicly listed (ASX) or global organizations.
Experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
Knowledge of Tabular Editor & XMLA endpoint interactions.
Experience with enterprise financial systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP BI, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
