Power BI Report Analyst

Role Overview:
Key responsibilities:
  • Rebuild approximately 60 existing Power BI and Paginated Reports across Workforce, Productivity, and Payroll Process domains.
  • Translate and adapt existing logics within the report to the new data structures using the UKG Pro WFM SQL database.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance by performing data reconciliation and implementing row-level security.
  • Improve data availability by identifying and addressing gaps between existing Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) data and the data available in the new UKG Pro WFM SQL database.
  • Maintain documentation of all rebuilt reports, including data mappings, logic transformations, and security.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the broader data warehouse environment to ensure consistency and integration with existing BI infrastructure.
  • Support business-as-usual (BAU) reporting and BI maintenance activities where required.
Key skills and qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Report Builder (SSRS), and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience working with UKG/Kronos data (on-premise and cloud-based).
  • Strong proficiency in DAX and developing scalable, performance-optimised data models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data challenges effectively.
  • Experienced in supporting BAU BI operations, including troubleshooting and user queries.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under time constraints.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with Kronos, HR and Payroll SMEs.
