Key Tax Controversy Role
Our national team of tax specialists has extensive experience in managing and resolving complex tax disputes, ensuring effective working relationships with revenue authorities.
Prepare clients for risk reviews, audits, and disputes with various revenue bodies, including the ATO, AusIndustry, and State/Territory authorities.
Develop written and oral advocacy skills to provide expert advice on taxation law and administrative law.
Collaborate with specialist groups across our practice in Australia and internationally on engagements involving complex domestic and cross-border tax issues.
Requirements:
Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in an advisory or professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office will be viewed favourably.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects through strong collaboration and accountability for scope management and timely delivery.
Ability to negotiate discreetly with internal and external parties, including clients, government bodies, and other organisations.
