We seek a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team.
">This compliance-focused role involves managing the tax affairs of Steadfast Group Limited and its subsidiaries across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US.
">Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will collaborate with internal finance teams, external advisors, and other support functions.
">This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with corporate tax experience and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax obligations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US.">
- Lead the Country-by-Country, Public Country-by-Country, and Pillar Two reporting requirements.">
- Support the annual audit and financial statement preparation process.">
- Conduct in-house tax due diligence for acquisition targets.">
- Provide transactional tax support to the M&A team and external finance teams.">
- Manage the FBT return process for subsidiaries.">
Requirements:
">- 5–7 years of corporate tax experience, ideally within a chartered accounting firm.">
- Chartered Accountant designation or working towards qualification.">
- Strong understanding of tax effect accounting principles.">
- Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.">
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.">
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.">
