Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector and being part of our tight-knit team in Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Your role involves providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, supporting them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, this role offers broad and varied experience across the spectrum of occupational rehabilitation, supporting clients in both returning to their original employment and exploring new vocational opportunities.
Your duties will include:
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes;
Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals;
Working across various schemes such as workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes;
Conducting assessments including Initial, Worksite, and Vocational Assessments to support health, work, and life goals;
Providing injury prevention and injury management consultancy services such as group mental health training, Employee Assistance Program services, Psychological Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Adjustment to Injury Counselling services.

Qualifications
You should be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology;
Full professional AHPRA registration or ESSA EP accreditation;
Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders;
Compassion, kindness, and empathy;
Strong time management skills;
A current QLD Driver's License and access to a vehicle with comprehensive insurance are required.
