Rehabilitation Consultant

The role of a Rehabilitation Consultant is to provide expert support and guidance to individuals who have sustained an injury or illness, helping them return to work and regain their full potential.
This position involves working closely with clients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized rehabilitation plans that meet the individual's unique needs and goals.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will possess strong clinical reasoning skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key qualifications for this role include current registration or eligibility for membership with relevant industry bodies, as well as tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
Additional requirements include experience in occupational rehabilitation or performing Vocational Assessments, as well as a passion for helping people rehabilitate.
Responsibilities:- Provide holistic care and support to individuals who have sustained an injury or illness.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation plans that meet the individual's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with clients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the individual's strengths, limitations, and goals.
- Provide education and training to clients and employers on topics such as workplace safety, injury prevention, and return-to-work strategies.
- Current registration or eligibility for membership with relevant industry bodies.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Experience in occupational rehabilitation or performing Vocational Assessments.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for helping people rehabilitate.
