Rehabilitation Consultant - Rehabilitation Counsellor

Are you passionate about helping people get back on track after injury or illness? Join Work Rehab as a Rehabilitation Consultant or Senior Rehabilitation Consultant and make a genuine impact in the lives of individuals on their recovery journey.

We're looking for an Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our supportive Brisbane team. You'll work closely with clients, employers, healthcare providers, and insurers to create tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans that improve lives and foster independence.

What You'll Do


• Develop personalised, whole-person rehab and return-to-work plans


• Assess physical, psychological, and social factors impacting recovery


• Conduct Vocational, Workplace, and Psychological Functional Capacity Assessments


• Identify practical return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery timelines


• Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes


• Provide expert advice and evidence-based recommendations

About You


• Qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor with ASORC membership


• 1–2+ years in occupational rehabilitation (preferred)


• Excellent communicator and confident working with diverse stakeholders


• Passionate about achieving positive rehab outcomes


• Must have a driver's licence and reliable vehicle
