Key Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Accounting Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the business through the coordination, preparation, reporting and provision of accurate and concise analysis of financial data. This role supports the development of long-range financial plans and annual operations plans, functional overhead budgets (indirect and direct), preparation of monthly financial reports for each business unit, coordination and explanation of monthly and year-to-date variances and insightful analysis of drivers of business performance.

You will work closely with our local team and be backed by global expertise as well as a tailored professional development program to ensure your success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce timely and accurate management reports for the company, including financial metrics and analysis for management reviews.
  • Prepare and analyze financial performance of the company business, including forecasting and analysis of full year forecast against budget and prior forecast.
  • Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with the financial calendar.
  • Identify process enhancements and leverage core financial systems effectively.
  • Support the development of the Long-Range Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and other analysis as requested.
  • Understand and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Use foundational understanding of key financial metrics and financial analyses to participate in planning and forecasting.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A University Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years prior relevant experience required.
  • Theoretical to advanced knowledge of Finance or Accounting required.
  • Practical knowledge of projects, programs or systems relevant to the business with ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to facilitate decision-making process.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA desirable.
  • Experience with enterprise planning software such as IBM Cognos TM1 (including TM1 Web) desirable.
