**Workshop Services Allrounder**

**Permanent Position - Based in Welshpool - Great Company Culture**

Are you mechanically minded with experience in a workshop or warehouse environment and looking for a company you can be a part of for the long term?

Our client is an offshore services and supply company that has been operating from Perth (across Australia and internationally) for 30 years. They have created an open and welcoming culture that has led to some of the highest staff retention in the industry.

They are currently looking for someone to join their team as a workshop service allrounder. The role will give you a level of autonomy so if you are someone who likes to be proactive and have input in the planning of their day, this would be a great fit.

If you are looking for somewhere stable, that you can rely on for long term security, this would be the ideal place. They are not heavily affected by the boom cycles and downturns of Perth. Most people have been with the business for over 5 years.

**The Position**:
The role covers 3 core areas, the workshops, warehouse, and some office duties. Predominantly it will be assisting in the workshop and warehouse, but there will be some office-based tasks, mainly updating a computer system.

**Your main responsibilities will be to**
- Dismantle, clean, repair, test and assemble equipment
- Record maintenance and test certificates
- Receive and dispatch orders
- Maintain stock records
- Maintain workshop maintenance records
- Perform visual inspections and assist with preventative maintenance
- Comply with requirements of Integrated Management Systems
- Workshop housekeeping duties
- Assist daily toolbox meetings
- Assist with coordinating schedules and jobs within the workshop

**Ideally, we are looking for someone who**:

- Has experience working on mechanical equipment in some capacity (a formal trade qualification is not essential)
- Has a proactive attitude, the role will require someone who can take the initiative
- A decent level of computer literacy
- Is a team player
- Is punctual and well organised
- Has a willingness to learn
- Forklift license
- Knowledge of pumps (Desirable)

Essentially if you are someone that can take the initiative, has a bit of an aptitude in mechanics, have some experience with a forklift and can use a computer reasonably well then it would be great to hear from you.
