**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

Starboard IT is looking for a dedicated Technical Service Delivery Manager to be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and improving our services to maintain customer satisfaction that is in line with the company's growth targets.

The role is responsible for providing MS service desk support, user administration, leading and implementing small projects, and assisting and filling the place of the Head of Technology in his absence.

**WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU?**
- You MUST operate at enterprise level leading the service delivery function.
- You MUST be able to integrally engage and build relationships with your internal business stakeholders, connecting technical teams and service users
- You MUST have the ability to lead the service delivery team, managing conflict and ensuring that processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.
- You MUST the passion to build partnerships and engage with business stakeholders at levels.
- You MUST have the ability to think beyond just the task at hand to deeply understand the 'why' behind what you are doing.
- You MUST be a broadly skilled engineer/architect who have the experience building an always-on system in the cloud, working across a variety of technologies and service layers.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**

To be a successful as a Technical Service Delivery Manager you should demonstrate strong leadership and teamworking skills as well as demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills.

Additionally, you will have the following:

- Minimum of 7 years' experience in the IT industry
- Industry based technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, MCSA and VMWare)
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD - including but not limited to Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
- Familiarity and experience working with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid server environments
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
- ITIL certification
- Full permits to work in Australia
- Sydney based (face to face meetings with clients in the future)

**YOUR NEW DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with customers to gather requirements and scope best practice designs for their environments
- Provide proposals for customers based on the scope
- Review all technical proposals prior to submitting them to customers
- Ensuring changes are documented, reviewed, and implemented in such a way as to minimize risk to our client's business operations
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
- Manage the overall performance of the service desk and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage operational escalations through to resolution with open and timely communication
- Escalation of all unresolved problems/requests to relevant teams providing accurate categorization, assessment, and prioritization
- Successful closure and resolution of service desk tickets, including complex tickets and L3, L4 tickets/escalations
- Providing technical support across the company (in person or remotely)
- Ensuring changes are documented, reviewed, and implemented in such a way as to minimize risk to our client's business operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, regulations, and business policies and processes

**ADVANTAGEOUS CERTIFICATE**:

- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer
- Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator
