What You Will Get to Do:

SS&C Bluedoor is experiencing an exciting transformation period, undergoing a modernisation of its current technology. As the part of the Global Digital Team the opportunity arises for a Technical Delivery Manager with Cloud infrastructure experience. The role will oversee and drive the successful execution of the GIDS AU Private Cloud Migration Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership program delivery experience and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security principles.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of the AU Private Cloud project ensuring alignment with business objectives, and existing project frameworks.
  • Engage and align project stakeholders across multiple workstreams to manage discovery, define scope and schedule priority delivery items.
  • Ensure application of structured problem-solving techniques to mitigate risks, manage issues, and adapt plans dynamically in response to evolving project needs.
  • Manage technical stakeholders cloud architects, infrastructure teams, security and application owners and steer complex technical decisions when required.
  • Apply Agile, Lean, and traditional project management methodologies to track delivery milestones, ensure successful project outcomes and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the project Change Lead to support consistent change and assist with communication across all workstreams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global stakeholders, foster open communication and manage expectations regarding project delivery.
  • Deliver system migrations from inception through to production Go-Live and Operational readiness.
  • Monitor testing strategies, migration acceptance criteria and quality of deliverables through the project lifecycle.
  • Review and incorporate lessons learnt from previous projects to refine planning and execution.
  • Prepare and present workstream status reports, performance metrics, and executive summaries to the leadership team and associated project stakeholders.
  • Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR) to evaluate project success.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager in digital transformation with exposure to on premise and various cloud infrastructure and hosting environments as well as DevOps pipeline, within complex technology and multi-client environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering on time and within scope.
  • Experience managing cloud migration, modernisation or optimisation programs.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Confluence or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing cross functional teams and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Stong leadership and stakeholder management influencing at senior levels.
