**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements

with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12 month contract paying $800 - $900 P/D + Super.

**About the Team**

The Team you are joining is a high functioning and performing team amongst a leading NSW Government agency. A team of like-minded individuals who thrive to deliver outstanding work to help residents of NSW. Your team will be responsible for supporting an award winning and critical digital product.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Oversee technical project delivery, ensuring that delivery and solutions align with established team and organisational standards, project timelines, strategic and financial objectives.
- Coordinate management of delivery resources within an Agile team, including product managers/owners, designers, architects, engineers, business analysts, testers, content and communication specialists and adjacent SMEs.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, establish and sustain a regular cadence, and foster a broader stakeholder comprehension of delivery methodologies and practices.
- Ensure timely and comprehensive planning and estimation of releases, proper backlog grooming, accurate recording of stories and defects, timely workflow updates, and prompt completion of enabling artifacts.
- Monitor and report on the progress of delivery, including risks and issues, while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop and support senior colleagues in maintaining project plans, roadmaps, budgets, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement within the product team.

**About You**
- Strong technical background in software development and a track record of delivering digital projects in the context of multi-functional teams.
- Expertise in use of Agile delivery software, including JIRA.
- Expertise in Agile (e.g. Scrum) cadence, ceremonies, artefacts and interactions.
- Ability to educate broader stakeholders on best practice ways of working.
- Experience in project governance, reporting, budgeting, resourcing and increment planning.
