**Overview**

Due to ongoing business growth, we have a position to fulfill for an EXPERIENCED Capsule and Tablet Machine Operator to ensure our ever growing customers demands are met.

CGS Pharma has now completed a 3rd GMP manufacturing facility which is now up and running, and a plan to introduce a 4th facility in the coming months. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and pro-active team player who has the commitment to quality and safety in their work.

**What's on Offer?**
- Permanent position
- Day shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm - Monday to Thursday, 6.00am-12noon on Friday
- State-of-the-art facilities

- Multiple positions across both shifts for capsules and tablet machine operators.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Operate and perform manufacturing processes within a TGA / Food and Cosmetic production environment, including clean room behaviors and basic Microbiology.
- Perform the tasks required to run and operate the machines efficiently including line clearance tasks and effective management of all raw materials and components.
- Operate capsule and tablet machines to fill capsules and tablets with medicinal formulas.
- Ensure all activities carried out comply with relevant site GMP and OHS&E requirements and be accountable for all documentation generated as part of either the manufacturing or packing processes.
- Ensure batch documents for manufacturing, packaging, in-process, and finished goods are completed accurately for various stages of processing.
- Follow Work Instructions and SOPs.
- Carry Out Pre-Start Safety Checks.
- Carry out all In Process Checks (IPC) as required.
- Minimize waste and maximize yields and efficiencies.
- Quality assurance & quality checking of all batch records
- Participate in problem solving groups where required.
- Have sound knowledge of packaging treatments
- Maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machinery and diagnostics as required
- Day-to-day tidying cleaning in a GMP environment office & amenities cleaning
- Adhere to expected Standards Work at all times.
- Other duties as required from time to time
- Strong GMP/TGA, HACCP experience preferred, training will be provided.
- Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
- 3-5 years of experience operating a fully automatic capsule machine and/or tablet press is preferred, or a person with high mechanical aptitude as full training will be provided.
- Manual lifting ability required (heavy lifting at times)
- Previous supplement, powder manufacturing experience, food or pharmaceutical
- Ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- A team player with a proven ability to work unsupervised.
- Own reliable transport
- Willing to patriciate in random drug tests

**Skills and experience**:

- Willing and positive attitude
- High mechanical aptitude
- Experience in a Pharma, Medical Device, or Food Quality Systems
- Knowledge of GMP/TGA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability
- Customer and team focused
- Working Numeracy/Literacy and computer skills.
- Fork Lift License beneficial

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
