Household Coordinator - Residential Aged Care (Kincumber, Central Coast)
Join Catholic Healthcare as a Household Coordinator at Holy Cross, Kincumber (Central Coast NSW).
This permanent, 7-day operation role offers day shifts (e.g., 8:00am – 4:00pm) to meet the needs of residents in the neighbourhood.

Overview
The Household Coordinator manages household operations and coordinates activities to enhance personalised daily living experiences for residents in a care setting.
This role emphasizes relationship-centered care and coordinates activities, reporting to the Clinical Manager within the Household Care team.
It has no direct reports but will coordinate Care Companions in the household.
A background in Personal Care, Leisure & Lifestyle or as an Enrolled Nurse is preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate household operations within a neighbourhood of approximately 17 residents
Assist with resident personal care and administer basic medications as required
Facilitate individual activities based on residents' interests, hobbies and preferences
Serve as a link between residents, families and other roles in the home
Coordinate daily living experiences tailored to residents' needs and preferences
Support new residents and their families as they move into the home
Suggest services and experiences offered by the household to meet residents' personal preferences
Ensure team members are aware of resident events or appointments needing coordination
Maintain knowledge of Catholic Healthcare service offerings and suggest enhancements based on resident and family feedback
Oversee stocktake management of consumables within the household
Demonstrate pride in the household by doing what is needed
To be successful in this role you'll need
A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and families
Respect for the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
Completion of Cert III or Cert IV, or qualifications in aged care, Enrolled Nurse, independent support, frontline management or similar
Experience in at least one area of Personal Care, Leisure and Lifestyle, Hospitality or Nursing
Ability to influence others and coordinate people and resources effectively
Creative problem-solving skills
