This strategic shift marks a significant milestone for the business and presents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of coal processing at Foxleigh.As we build internal capability for this new venture, we are seeking a CHPP Coordinator to play a key role in driving performance, ensuring plant reliability, and embedding a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.The opportunity:This role is responsible for coordinating CHPP operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance by executing production plans, supporting maintenance activities, driving continuous improvement, and leading a high-performing operational team, your daily duties will include:Conduct thorough daily plant inspections, ensuring defects are documented, rectified promptly, and any safety or business risks are escalated appropriately.Oversee and execute daily and weekly production plans, aligning resources to meet throughput, quality, and delivery targets.Monitor and drive the optimisation of plant and rail performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve efficiency.Coordinate and support unplanned maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity.Collaborate with production, maintenance, and technical teams to align operational priorities and maintain plant availability.Assist in the preparation and delivery of shift reports, production data, and performance KPIs.Support the implementation of improvement initiatives across safety, production, and cost control.Provide leadership and mentoring to operators to foster a high-performing and accountable team cultureAbout you:In addition to a Trade Qualification and strong processing experience you will possess:Previous mine site experience, ideally within fixed plant (CHPP) operations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address production and maintenance issues effectively.Demonstrated experience in production or maintenance planning, including the coordination of resources and scheduling.Proven commitment to safety, with sound knowledge of safe work practices around both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.Understanding of train loading operations, including interface with rail scheduling and loadout systems.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Project) and exposure to Computerised MaintenanceWorking knowledge of the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations, and ability to apply compliance requirements in daily operations.Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise across production, maintenance, and logistics teams.What we offer:A pivotal role in a new owner-operated CHPP venture with the opportunity to influence setup and operational successCompetitive remuneration package with annual incentive programLifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster - Residential, DIDO, & FIFO opportunitiesAccess to fully equipped accommodation village with meals, gym, and recreational facilitiesSupportive, performance-driven team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvementProfessional development and career progression opportunities within a growing operationStrong leadership commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and employee wellbeingIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a significant new chapter at Foxleigh Mine, we encourage you to apply and join us in shaping the future of our owner-operated CHPP.
