We're currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to support CHPP operations at a major mining site in the Bowen Basin.This leadership role focuses on fostering continuous improvement within the maintenance team while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
You will oversee maintenance crews, supervisors, and planners to deliver maintenance and production outcomes effectively.This position is ideal for candidates based in or near Emerald, Blackwater, Rockhampton, Mackay, or elsewhere in the Bowen Basin region.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direction, coaching, and leadership to supervisors and maintenance staff.Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement in maintenance performance.Support the development and management of the CHPP maintenance budget.Oversee systems for safe and efficient CHPP operation.Collaborate with production and planning teams to coordinate maintenance activities.Conduct inspections as per the Mine Inspection Plan.Ensure compliance with site health, safety, and environmental standards.BenefitsHourly rate + superannuation, depending on experience, paid weekly.Contract role with potential for extension.Senior leadership position with strategic input and autonomy.Join a strong, supportive maintenance culture.MSS Employee Assistance Program.Staff uniforms provided.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will needProven experience as a Maintenance Superintendent or in a senior maintenance leadership role, preferably within CHPP or fixed plant environments.Ability to lead and coach multidisciplinary teams.Experience in budget management and continuous improvement initiatives.Strong knowledge of safety systems and legislative compliance.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Australian Working Rights.Located within commuting distance to the site or based in the Bowen Basin region.About UsMaintenance Systems Solutions Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with offices nationwide and internationally.
