An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join Service Stream in our Telecommunications Sector based in, Parramatta, NSW
About the Role

Service Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team. The primary objective of the Procurement Project Manager is to support the wireless business to adequately resource, maximise profit and conduct governance across all the SS Wireless projects and to maximise value from suppliers through leading market intelligence, insights, best in class sourcing, contracting and category management processes to meet the needs of the projects.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Parramatta, NSW

Reporting Line: Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the Business Charter and be seen to demonstrate the behaviours and the conduct within the Charter
- Lead by example and demonstrate the Service Stream values in everything we do.
- Assist in the creation of SOR's with all wireless projects
- Implement SOR's downstream with our contractors and get agreements and contracts implemented based on these SOR's
- Ensure all contractors are compliant to Statutory requirements, insurance COC's, Licenses and permits as required for the scope of their deliverable
- Ensure all contractors staff are compliant to the TNA
- Sourcing of contractors to supplement the existing panel
- Conduct Governance meetings with all Wireless contractors on a regular basis
- Assist with offshoring strategies and resourcing to improve profitability
- Lead procurement for one or more business functions. Including acting as primary contact.
- Be involved in a wide range of procurement activities from strategy development, tendering, contract implementation and supplier management.
- Assist in tender pack preparation.
- Assist in dispute resolution between contractors and SS
- Assist in creation of internal crew set up as separate resource, creation of own cost centre, Operating procedures, variation control, recruitment strategy and plan, establish reporting governance, equipment and kit register
- Lead the interface between internal teams and assigned wireless projects, conduct governance meetings for this relationship
- Assist in tender requests and pricing submissions
- Assist in variation disputes between contractor and project team
- Lead build pricing activities for opportunities within the project and beyond as required by the business
- Manage the key supplier relationships on allocated projects
- Assist in the creation and release of RFX tenders
- Manage the evaluation process incorporating technical, commercial and operating model

About You
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in procurement
- Experience and understanding of the sourcing process (RFQ, RFP, RFx) is essential
- Analytical skills - Cost and spend analyses, excellent with excel, pivot tables, vlookups,etc
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline preferred
- Experience in the Telecommunications sector
