**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Great interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Can work cohesively within a team environment
- Knowledge and willingness to learn and progress in all areas of administration
- Time management skills and the ability to be self-motivated
- Great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Medical/business administration qualification (desirable)
- Medical terminology

**CORE DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring the patient experience is positive
- Coordinating surgical lists under the direction of NUM
- Liaising with a variety of personnel including nursing staff, Dr's rooms, medical suppliers, health funds and visiting medical officers
- Maintaining the patient management system ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Accounts payable, receivable, debtors and banking
