Principal Consultant

In the role of Principal Consultant, you will provide high level advice to the General Manager (RoadTek) and the leadership team on a wide range of commercial business issues, and actively advise the General Manager (RoadTek) by providing timely, independent and expert advice on major policies and key issues in relation to portfolio, corporate and commercial responsibilities.
**Accountabilities include**:
- Liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to research, analyse, make recommendations and prepare responses for the General Manager (RoadTek).
- Coordinate and manage RoadTek's business performance for the General Manager (RoadTek), monitoring performance against RoadTek's targets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational, divisional or branch strategies including policy, program, whole of government and business operations.
- As a member of the Directorate, develop and maintain effective relationships, including internal and external stakeholders to Transport and Main Roads, and monitor RoadTek's alignment with departmental objectives.
- Provide advice to the General Manager (RoadTek) on Machinery of Government issues, departmental policy and procedures which impact on RoadTek.
- Coordinate the production of RoadTek's monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports.
- Support the RoadTek Leadership Team with managing and coordinating corporate governance, RoadTek's auditory obligations and risk management.
