**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Term (6-months) Accounts Payable Officer to join our Corporate team in our **Broadbeach **office on the beautiful Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Manager Payables, this role is responsible for overseeing the accurate processing of vendor invoices by the offshore processing team. In addition to this, accountable for resolving escalated queries from internal and external customers and participating in the preparation of various other Accounts Payable related processes and reports.

**Some of the key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Address discrepancies and inconsistencies with key stakeholders
- Investigate, manage and resolve complex billing enquiries
- Manage data exceptions from Converga to QAD and JDE
- Train, mentor and monitor the offshore processing team to ensure that all transactional processing and statement reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure costs to be on charged to airline customers are provided to the Accounts Receivable team bi-weekly
- Ensure queries are raised for out of balance amounts on supplier statements and all copies of invoices are received in current month
- Liaise with Procurement and Suppliers to query pricing and with Item Master team to facilitate maintenance of correct pricing in all systems
- Ensure electronic scanning and other space saving methods of storage and retrieval are processed accurately
- Assist with projects, including the implementation of software and provide training and support
- Participate in month end close, reconciliation of GRNI accounts, data analysis and cleansing and other assistance as required by the Finance team
