About The Role
The Trades Assistant – Electronics reports through to our Mission Equipment Production Technical Supervisor.
This is a vital support role within the Electronics Solutions department, working alongside Production Technicians to ensure the smooth execution of daily workshop operations.
Responsibilities including assisting with routine workshop tasks, maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to production activities – where assessed as component.
This hands-on role is essential in driving efficiency, upholding quality standards and supporting the delivery of high-performance electronic solutions.
This role is based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Brisbane.

Excellent communication skills;
Ability to learn and interpret technical data;
Good time-management skills;
Ability to work on technical tasks under supervision;
Ability to work unsupervised on generic office tasking;
Sound general electronic technical knowledge;
Proficiency of basic computer programs including MS Office;
Ability to travel internationally when required; and
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
