ShawX Manufacturing in Cleveland designs and manufactures heavy earthmoving equipment and truck bodies. We are seeking two Casual Trades Assistants.

We are looking for two Trade Assistants who have practical abilities, are punctual, and reliable. One position is for our spray-painting workshop, and the other is in our fabrication/welding workshop.

In this role, you will support our workshop teams.

  • Ability to assess daily tasks and plan accordingly

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Trade Assistant, you will support our team and trade staff to complete manufacturing activities by:

  • Maintaining clean and orderly work areas across our Manufacturing & Painting Departments
  • Assisting with general projects including drilling, grinding, sanding, and spray painting
  • Receiving and organizing materials and parts
  • Training will be provided where required
