Description

Join our Brisbane Workshop in a full-time role as a Trade Assistant, providing support to our Workshop Tradesmen. You will focus on ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standard. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to break into the Heavy Vehicle industry, with a passion for learning within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting mechanics with minor electrical repairs, panel beating, washing the fleet, and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Performing basic servicing and repairs in the yard.
  • Monitoring the fleet for damages or repairs and reporting issues.
  • Contributing to a team that values quality work and positive culture.
  • Working Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 2:30 pm, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Current HR license is required.
  • Interest or knowledge in mechanics is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Truck and trailer driving experience is beneficial.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
