Configuration Management is a key discipline within Suncorp responsible for governing the CMDB which is foundational to all other SIAM / ITSM disciplines. The Configuration Specialist - ServiceNow, is responsible for taking ownership of the configuration management process and governance, and execution of the System Health Assessment process.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your existing ServiceNow, Configuration Management and Business Analysis experience whilst also being mentored to enhance your skill set.

**What you'll do**:

- Develop and maintain the data quality, standards and processes related to data / Critical Incidents (CI's) contained within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Establish and document CMDB processes, assist to embed the processes across the Group
- Recommend improvements to CMDB and supporting processes.
- Act as the gatekeeper for the CMDB and collaborate with the broader team to ensure processes are implemented, standardised and data quality is maintained. Education of teams and reporting are key to ensuring CMDB quality is maintained.
- Implement a platform operating model to achieve desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption
- Be responsible for all aspects relating to management of CIs within the CMDB as well as contributing to the strategy, processes and implementation of (CMDB).
- Registering new CI's when needed, transition a CI into a new state, creating or adding new features to a CI, viewing and monitoring all CIs, and removing a CI when it is not needed.
- Providing information on the status of CIs and aligning CMDB with Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes.

**What you'll bring**:

- Minimum of 3 years' hands on experience with ServiceNow and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) essential
- Previous experience of business analysis and reporting
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification would be highly regarded
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally, working collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail
