**Join the NDSC Team - Disability Support Workers (Redland Bay & Brisbane Southside)**

At **NDSC (National Disability Support & Care)**, we believe support should feel like family. We're looking for passionate and dedicated **Disability Support Workers** to join our growing team in Redland Bay and Brisbane Southside.

As a Support Worker, you won't just be providing care - you'll be empowering people with disability to build independence, achieve their goals, and live fulfilling lives in the community.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Delivering personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect.
- Supporting daily living activities like cooking, cleaning, and household tasks.
- Facilitating community access by attending appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Providing emotional and behavioural support, following individualised care plans.
- Assisting with medication reminders, mobility support, and complex health needs when required.
- Supporting participants in **Supported Independent Living (SIL)** and working with people with complex or psychosocial disabilities.
- Encouraging independence through life skill development, social connections, and goal achievement.
- Completing accurate progress notes, reports, and incident documentation.

**About You**

We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and skilled support workers who:

- Hold a **Cert III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent qualification**.
- Have experience in disability, aged care, or mental health (experience with SIL or complex needs highly regarded).
- Understand trauma-informed care and have experience managing challenging behaviours.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A 'can do' attitude.
- Can work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
- Are flexible and reliable, with a genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
- Willing to work shift work, including days, weekends, nights, active/inactive overnights across a 24/7 roster.

**Essential Requirements**
- Current **First Aid & CPR Certificate**.
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**.
- **Working with Children Check (Blue Card)**.
- National Police Check.
- Current **Australian Driver's License** and ability to transport participants.
- Right to work in Australia.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
