**NDIS Client Services Assistant**

**Position Title**: NDIS Client Services Assistant
**Location**: Bendigo Region, Victoria
**Employment Type**: Part-time with opportunity for full time hours
**Reports To**: NDIS Client Services Manager / Team Leader

**Position Overview**

The NDIS Client Services Assistant is a key role in supporting the administration and coordination of services for NDIS participants in the Bendigo region. This position will involve providing administrative support to the NDIS team, liaising with clients, families and service providers and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience for participants.
You will be responsible for assisting with documentation, coordinating appointments, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Communication and Support**:
Act as the first point of contact for NDIS clients, their families and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing information on NDIS services, processes and policies.
- **Appointment Coordination**: Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments for NDIS participants, including meetings with support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community services.
- **Administrative Assistance**: Provide administrative support including data entry, updating client files, maintaining records and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and stored in line with NDIS standards and confidentiality requirements.
- **Participant Intake and Onboarding**: Support new NDIS participants through the intake and onboarding process, helping them understand the NDIS process and their rights and responsibilities.
- **Service Coordination**: Help in coordinating service delivery between NDIS participants, support workers and service providers. Ensure that clients receive the services outlined in their NDIS plans.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including service agreements, reports and progress updates, ensuring compliance with NDIS documentation requirements.
- **Collaboration with NDIS Teams**: Work closely with NDIS support coordinators, case managers and other internal teams to ensure service delivery is in accordance with each participant's NDIS plan.
- **Client Feedback and Quality Assurance**: Assist in gathering feedback from clients and families to improve services and monitor client satisfaction with services provided.
- **Compliance and Policy Adherence**: Ensure all processes are compliant with NDIS guidelines, privacy laws and other relevant legislative requirements.

**Skills and Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- A certificate, qualification or experience in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Community Services, or Disability Support.
- Previous experience in an administrative or client service role, preferably within the NDIS or community services sector.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office-related software.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- An NDIS Workers Screening number
- Certificate of completion of NDIS Module
- A genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities and an understanding of the NDIS system.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of the NDIS framework, policies and processes.
- Experience with client relationship management systems (CRM) or other database software.
- Knowledge of local Bendigo community services and resources available to NDIS participants.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Previous experience working in a client-facing administrative role in the health, community services, or disability sectors.
