**Tell me about this role**:
We are currently looking for security cleared Capability Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career with a leading Defence supplier. This opportunity will involve the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Submarine Capability Engineering Framework. The framework will support the Navy in scoping potential changes to capability to support the submarine division in forward planning, resourcing demands, conduct preliminary analysis and groundwork that could accelerate the delivery of the capability.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Develop a Capability Engineering Framework
- Provide modelling of a capability framework and evaluation of framework to Systems Engineering specialist
- Collaborate with multiple key team members and stakeholders providing erpert information and reports to ensure constant capability capture
- Manage 'Special projects' as assigned.
- Assist in technology forecasting
- Prioritise and progress work to meet business objectives, provide advice and guidance on complex issues

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years' experience in relevant industry of Systems Engineering in the Maritime domain and 5 years of relevant experience in Capability development
- Proven experience in capability of absorbing complex information and communicating effectively (orally and in writing) at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences (Essential)
- Minimum a current NV1 security clearance
