Job Title: Senior Business Partner for People and Capability
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR service excellence across a designated geographical client group. This role requires collaboration with our Senior Leadership to apply best practice HR knowledge and develop influencing and communication skills. Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement of the HR function, providing support to the HR Advisor on IR related matters, leading Enterprise Agreement negotiations, and managing complex workplace investigations and grievance resolution. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, knowledge of National Employment Standards, and experience in employee relations. Additionally, they will possess exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to think practically and logically through difficult situations.

About the Role

This role is responsible for the full HR life cycle, including leadership development, talent and succession planning, change management, workforce planning, and more. The Senior Business Partner for People and Capability will work closely with senior leadership teams to influence the continuous improvement of employee engagement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement of the HR function through effective influencing and collaborative working relations.
  • Provide support to the HR Advisor on IR related matters.
  • Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and prepare relevant paperwork.
  • Manage complex workplace investigations and grievance resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of National Employment Standards and experience in employee relations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to think practically and logically through difficult situations.
