
Inventory Planner

**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Planner to join our national parts team based in Fairfield, NSW on a full time contract. Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Engagement, maintenance and support of regional sales/customer planning activities.
- Maintain operational targets: Excess, Policy Fill, Forecast Accuracy, Off Shelf Availability, Total Inventory.
- Conduct root cause analysis and countermeasures to improve inventory position.
- Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and maintain healthy inventory levels
- Engaging in Systems and processes to monitor SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) and maintain Planning requirements
- Collaborate with managers to maintain and advance the Spare Parts KPIs
- Liaise with suppliers to area requirements and improve performance
- Engage in communication between Regional Sales and Operations to ensure our compliance with Komatsu Customer Support Charter
- Lead and motivate ensuring friendly, timely and professional resolution of issues and business improvements recommendations.
- Conduct Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to obtain necessary data from Regional, Parts & Supply Chain teams to optimize purchase recommendations from the system/manual recommendations.
- Monitor changes to lead time and update system parameters as required.

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or similar
- Self-Starter with demonstrated Inventory Management experience (min 2 years).
- Experience in MRP or Planning Systems and Processes
- Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks
- Strong software skills in Excel (MS Access & PowerPoint preferred)
- Sound knowledge of MRP system calculations
- Komatsu product knowledge with technical background (desirable but not essential)
- Established strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as being a team player.
- Solution orientated with positive attitude to deliver accurate results on time
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
- High level attention to detail and proven data entry accuracy and integrity
- Experience with Quality Control tools (desirable but not essential as in-house training provided)
