**Job Title:** Inventory Planner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Planner to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective inventory plans to meet sales and margin targets.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory management, with a strong background in FMCG and General Merchandise Retail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing effective inventory plans to meet sales and margin targets
  • Maintaining inventory levels within set parameters at all times
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory
  • Developing service level reporting to evaluate supplier compliance
  • Reviewing orders and delivery schedules to ensure delivery requirements are met
  • Communicating with suppliers on pricing accuracy or order status updates
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management
  • Experience in an FMCG and General Merchandise Retail environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and drive
