An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN).
Working with the Director of Medical Research, you will play a key role in building research capability, supporting clinical trials, and fostering collaborations with external partners to improve health outcomes for rural South Australians.
This role will see you: Assist with research governance, ethics processes, and grant writing.
Collaborate with clinicians, students, and external researchers to support impactful projects.
Provide research training, mentoring, and consultancy services to staff and students.
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to strengthen research outcomes.
Contribute to the growth of a research culture across EFNLHN.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with: Demonstrated experience in health or clinical research, including data management and compliance with research standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to build partnerships with clinicians, researchers, and external organisations.
A track record of contributing to publications, grant applications, or research governance processes.
A tertiary qualification relevant to health or clinical research and/or postgraduate study (e.g., PhD) will be highly regarded.
