This position operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation model of care by providing and participating in supervision and training in the use of skill-shared and delegated clinical tasks, and by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice.About The TeamOur Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community, and rural settings.
Our Speech Pathologists provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management to children and adults needing help with communication and/or swallowing.Community Health and Therapy Services plays a vital role in the continuum of care for consumers and their carers at discharge from acute care through to re-establishment in the consumers' residence, or when necessary, transitioning to residential care settings.
Community Health and Therapy Services comprise a range of outpatient healthcare activities focused on assessing, re-abling, and maintaining individuals' capacity to successfully remain in their community.Visit: /.
