- About the role:

- To promote Community engagement and participate in recruitment activities such as advertising, social media, events, and information dissemination.
- Facilitation of the Shared Lives Victoria training package including any other required packages to current and prospective foster carers.
- Conduct agency inductions, carer supervisions, compliance activities and annual reviews for foster carers.
- Facilitate Step by Step Foster Care assessment interviews with suitable applicants.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, that may include weekends on occasion.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE** - what you will bring;
- A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system and the available resources and services in Gippsland.
- Skills in intake and case management.
- An awareness of the impacts of trauma on childhood development
- Valid Victorian Driver's Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum requirement of Diploma of Community Services or other relevant or appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience relevant to this position.
