About the Role
This is a key opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of care by joining our dedicated team as a Carer Recruitment and Development Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting, assessing, and supporting new carers, while empowering and retaining our existing carer community through training and development.
Based in the North Division, you'll enjoy a varied role that requires travel across the region, connecting with communities and making a real impact. You will report to the Carer Recruitment and Development Coordinator, and you'll be at the forefront of a mission that truly changes lives.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Children's Services, or equivalent.
- Professional knowledge and theory base particularly in the areas of trauma, attachment, and therapeutic care and assessment and training.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and meeting KPI's while working under pressure (exceptional organisational and administration skills).
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
