**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking Expression of Interests from highly motivated **Configuration Managers **with **Army Aviation Mission Planning** experience who will join our team to provide technical expertise and advice to support the Army Aviation Mission Planning Team and implementation of the AMS.

Under direction from the Army Aviation Mission Planning Systems Engineering Lead, the position would support and enforce the configuration management requirements, including configuration item (CI) types, naming conventions (software and documentation), required attributes and relationships.

The Configuration Manager would be accountable to the Army Aviation Mission Planning Capability Lead to provide technical support for the AMS deliverables supported by Army Aviation Mission Planning Team as follows:

- Performing configuration audits and reporting of the configuration management data.
- Developing and maintaining configuration management processes and procedures.
- Ensuring that all information within the configuration management system is accurate and up to date.
- Ensuring that appropriate views of configuration management data are maintained and made available to those for whom they are targeted.
- Providing advice and support to the Army Aviation Mission Planning Capability Lead and where required the ACTSS Senior Engineering Manager to ensure that change impacts across configuration items are understood and managed.
- Ensuring that the information pertaining to configuration management is adequately protected, stored, and backed up.
- Contributing to the identification and management of technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.
- Reviewing, verifying, and improving documentation produced in support of AMS development and sustainment.
