**Our client**
Our client is a well-established, successful business and a well-known based between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They are the market leader in their niche and have experienced year-on-year growth and expansion into international markets in recent years.

Growth and internal restructure has created this opportunity for an eager systems and process person with either experience or a desire to work in the Procurement function with a view to manage the procurement function over a short period of time.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Ensuring full recording of data and detail within all procurement activities;
- Recording and analysis of the supplier documents and contractual agreements;
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to build positive working relationships;
- Collaborating with management to review high value contracts on terms & conditions;
- Identifying and implementing effective risk management strategies to maintain supply continuity;
- Analysing, evaluating and contributing to high quality tender documentation;
- Managing import/ export requirements and documentation;
- Ensuring Management receive regular, accurate and insightful reporting with recommendations to improve the bottom line; and
- Automating, streamlining and making value ad improvements to the supply chain process.

**About you**
Success requires an ability to contribute to high attention to detail procedures and documentation within either a procurement or inventory management role ideally from a fabrication background. You will have extensive software experience (Microsoft Dynamics/SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel skills with a well-developed understanding of modern supply chain concepts and associated systems/ technologies.

It is expected that you will have well developed interpersonal skills with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence and engage. Due to a new project in the second half of the year, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead and take the next step up.
