About the role
What you'll be doing:
Partner with the regional sales team to develop strategic and technical account and territory plans
Support customers along their sales journey by demonstrating the value of the Auth0 technology through live demonstrations and sales presentations
Develop confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the customer organization, including CxO, security, developers, Product Managers and IT administrators
Serve as the key technical advisor for customers, leading the technical solutioning phase and partnering with the sales team and partners; act as the Technical Advocate for customers with internal Auth0 teams
Execute well-defined, outcome-focused POCs
Build and manage technical relationships with Auth0 Customers, Technology Partners and Delivery Partners
Participate in Auth0 marketing-led events as a speaker/thought leader and attendee
Travel to meet customers; travel will be mainly domestic with potential travel to other Asia Pacific countries and within the US for training and conferences
What you'll bring to the role
Technical Skills
A passion to serve the customer, evidenced by some customer-facing experience (ideally pre-sales)
Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks), mobile (iOS, Android), backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby), and developer tooling for identity integrations
Business & Strategic Skills
Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes and articulate ROI to stakeholders
Familiarity with regional compliance and regulatory frameworks, tailoring solutions to meet requirements
Awareness of threat landscapes and emerging risks, including AI-driven attacks, insider threats, and privilege misuse
Soft Skills
Strong presentation skills across multiple mediums; capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional collaboration skills to work across customers, partners, and internal teams
Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to evolving requirements and priorities
Confidence sharing knowledge with highly skilled audiences
Preferred Experience (not mandatory)
Experience with Identity & Access Management, Single Sign-On, Security and API-based solutions
Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP)
Proficiency in identity protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, LDAP) and zero-trust principles
Deep expertise in IAM platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or similar
Proficient in IT Security, IAM or Developer domains
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or similar field
Hands-on experience in web/mobile/backend development or IP-based real-time communications
