Base pay range
A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
What You'll Be Doing
Manage employee relations issues in a highly unionised terminal environment, providing expert advice, guidance, and counsel to managers
Support front line leaders to improve workforce performance and conduct through coaching and practical guidance
Provide EA interpretation and advice, helping managers address areas of non-compliance confidently and effectively
Lead talent acquisition for our Brisbane business unit, contributing to our goal of becoming the preferred employer in stevedoring
Deliver a broad range of HR strategies, programs, and processes across the full employee lifecycle—including performance appraisal, career development, and talent management
Champion employee engagement, diversity, and wellbeing initiatives to retain and grow our talent
Partner with HSEQ to foster a proactive safety culture
Leverage HR data and systems to drive insights and continuous improvement
Lead local HR projects and support broader strategic initiatives across Hutchison Ports Australia
What You'll Bring
7+ years' experience in Human Resources, ideally in industrial or operational settings
Strong knowledge of employment law, enterprise agreements, and IR/ER principles
Proven ability to manage performance and conduct processes with confidence
Bachelor's degree in HR, IR, or a related discipline
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
