**Duties**:

- Conduct gear box inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Perform gearbox repairs and servicing in the workshop and external locations.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their optimal functionality.
- Prioritize and maintain a strong focus on quality and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate record keeping on job and time sheets.
- Comply with all applicable procedures and work instructions while operating equipment.
- Report all accidents and hazards promptly, and consistently wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to the Standards of Business Conduct and company policies.
- Participate in training programs for professional development as required.
- Maintain professionalism and dress standards at all times.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed within the scope of the role, including tasks outside of the job scope as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

- Ability to perform assigned tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Basic writing skills to compose simple correspondence.
- Experience in working with and developing workshop procedures.
- Competency in the maintenance of workshop equipment.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- High standards of workmanship with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of gearbox systems.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and willingness to work under pressure when required.
- High awareness and respect for other team members.
- Ability to perform tasks without compromising the safety and health of oneself and others.

Qualifications:

- Fitter trade qualifications.
