iLocate Australia seeks dedicated professionals to fill a crucial role in our Sydney team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Locator to join our rapidly growing company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for locating underground utilities using specialized equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Electromagnetic Locator (Radiodetection) and Ground Penetrating Radar (MALA) to locate underground utilities.
  • Mark the location of utilities using paint, flags, or other markers.
  • Interpret utility maps and drawings to identify potential conflicts.
  • Communicate with contractors and project managers about potential utility conflicts.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid White Card (Occupational Health & Safety Construction Induction).
  • Have 2 years of experience as a utility locator or related industry.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift and open pit/manhole cover.
  • Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required.
  • Be flexible to work on night shift and weekends as required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate ($26.00 - $35.00 per hour)
