About The Role
We are currently seeking a Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) Certified Locator to join our rapidly growing team.
Based at Lonsdale, SA, you will be responsible for site-based projects where you will support the operations with locating a range of underground utility services whilst complying with the Company's OH&S policies and guidelines.
Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, your key responsibilities will include:
Read and understand utility maps, DBYD plans and aerial imagery to assist in identification of underground assets
Request and complete any Permit requests in relation to Utilities/Assets on job sites as per client requirements.
Create and submit utility reports on completion of each job
Ensure clients are provided with appropriate referrals to the services that meet their needs
Assist in the training of employees in the use of the Asset locator, and identifying of assets where required
Responsible for the scheduled maintenance and repair of all locating devices

About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
DBYD accreditation and ability to accurately interpret DBYD plans
Experience in underground asset location, with the ability to determine location, orientation and depth
Sound understanding of appropriate Australian standards and legislation
Knowledge in using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) & Radio Detection Locating Equipment
Experience in the Civil Construction industry is an added advantage
Conduct fieldwork in challenging environments
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and national Police clearance
