Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Product and Underwriting Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing underwriting and product guidance to our Claims and Sales teams, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities and analyze complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on insurance products and services, as well as industry best practices.
  • Support the development of our product and underwriting strategy by managing policy, regulatory, and compliance changes.
  • Uphold our insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, identifying potential risks and contributing to safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Review and update insurance product content across various formats.
  • Propose and implement underwriting process improvements to boost efficiency, risk management, and accuracy.
About You
  • You should have proven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis and implementation.
  • A strong General Insurance background and knowledge of insurance products and services are essential.
  • You must be able to communicate complex technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You should have a deep understanding of insurance regulations, including the General Insurance Code of Practice, dispute resolution, and relevant legislation.
  • Your passion for leveraging emerging technologies will help you stay ahead in a fast-changing digital world.
