Insurance Product Underwriter

Our ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of product underwriting practices and approaches, with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance changes affecting the product line.
They will be responsible for supporting Product and Underwriting strategy by researching, identifying, and coordinating policy, regulatory, and compliance changes involving the product line and their associated processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Product and Underwriting strategy by researching, identifying, and coordinating policy, regulatory, and compliance changes involving the product line and their associated processes.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with policy acceptance, denial, or special conditions, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the success of RAA's Product and Underwriting strategy.
- Assist with coordination, review, and accurate updating of Insurance product related content across various formats including PDS, Underwriting Guidelines, and member communications.
- Proactively identify and report opportunities for process improvement within Underwriting, proposing, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency, risk assessment, and accuracy.

We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in personal lines Product and Underwriting, with demonstrated knowledge of product underwriting practices and approaches.
- Proven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis (improvement) and implementation.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
- Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
